Who We Are

Company President and NACHI member Scott E. Smith spent 10 years working for and with one of the most respected and requested home inspectors in Chicago and has trained with local and national leaders in the industry. In addition to performing residential home inspections, Scott has provided condominium reserve studies, building condition reports and high rise emergency evacuation plans for numerous clients. He is a long-time owner/renovator of a 1916 vintage home on Chicago’s northwest side.

City Living Inspections, Inc. is a state-licensed entity, and all inspectors doing work for the company are individually licensed, as required by Law. Though not currently required by Law, we are fully insured for errors & omissions and also liability.
